The World of the Mandalas

Artwork

Mandala art can also be a method for meditation, relaxation, healing, inspiration and a creative outlet. Drawing and painting mandalas can help you to harmonize your harsh emotions, ease your pain, regain your trust in yourself and believe in your life again.
Finally you will be strong enough to change your mind; face and solve your problems.

What is mandala?

The “squaring of the circle” is one of the many archetypal motifs which form the basic patterns of our dreams and fantasies. But it is distinguished by the fact that it is one of the most important of them from the functional point of view. Indeed, it could evenbe called the archetype of wholeness.
- From Mandalas, by C. G. Jung
“The integrated view of the world represented by the mandala, while long embraced by some Eastern religions, has now begun to emerge in Western religious and secular cultures. Awareness of the mandala may have the potential of changing how we see ourselves, our planet, and perhaps even our own life purpose.”
- From Mandala: Journey to the Center, by Bailey Cunningham

Mandala is the language of the soul. The mandalas speak without words and the messages they give are unique to each individual - based on their receptivity, spiritual awareness and sensitivity.

The colours are very important parts of mandala because they show our present emotion position.
